    Coordinator: Release Management

    Job description

    Responsible for implementing and managing release processes for code through development, test, and production environments.

    Qualifications

    Bachelors Degree, B.Tech ( IT or Engineering related) or N.Dip. IT. Architectural frameworks related qualification adventageous

    Experience

    • 4+ years experience in the Information Technology (IT) environment, 3+ years experience Management experience;
    • 5+ years experience in a software development environment

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Position Specific Outputs

    • The setup of a quarterly prioritization session to elicit from the SS team a list of prioritized calls
    • Sourcing of prioritized list of requirements from the Development Prioritization Forum
    • Compilation of an implementation delivery plan that involves and that has the buy-in of the different affected areas down the SDLC value chain
    • Communication and sign-off facilitation of finalized release plan, including proposed implementation date of the packaged release, to all stakeholders
    • Oversight and monitoring of the overall release program
    • Gatekeeping of the list of items on the signed off packaged release
    • Communication of any red-flags, identified constraints, delays and/or progress to all stakeholders and
    • The coordination and planning activities for the implementation of the release into the production environment.
