Parts Sales & Service Representative (PSSR) at Sandvik

Job description

The role

• Support Sandvik customers by actively promoting and selling Crushing & Screening (C&S) Lifecycle Services (Wear/Spare Parts, Wear Protection & Screen Media, Service), with a view to grow & maintain sales and to support Sandvik’s Crushing & Screening customers in as many Lifecycle Service businesses opportunities as possible.
• As a full Team Member to drive C&S Lifecycle Services (80%) & Equipment (20%) Sales by bringing the best of Sandvik’s Crushing & Screening Products to meet a given customer requirement
• Working towards an Individual Southern Africa Sales Area - Sales Budget for the Business Unit Crushing & Screening within area of responsibility.
• Contributing towards the Total Sales Area Crushing & Screening Order Intake & Invoicing Budget
• Mandate Product: C&S Lifecycle Services by Geographic Area & by Customer within Sales Area - Southern Africa

Your profile

• Grade 12/N3 or equivalent qualification
• Qualified Tradesman (Mechanical/Electrical)
• Relevant Certificate / Diploma in Technical Sales
• Computer literacy (including relevant programs)
• Experience in the Mining & Quarrying Business Sectors (Specifically related to Crushing & Screening) (5 years)
• Experience in Crushing & Screening Aftermarket Product Offering Environment (5 years)
• Experience in Sales to External Customers (5 years)
• Technical Experience in Crushing & Screening Equipment (Sandvik C&S Equipment being an advantage)
• Communication skills - English proficiency
• Excellent Interpersonal & Negotiating skills
• Physical & Medical ability to function within the Mining & Quarrying Business Sectors
• Will be required to travel within the Southern Africa Sales Area
• Willingness to relocate (Based on operational requirements)
• Valid Code B drivers license
