QA Manager at Cartrack

Job description

Cartrack, an international telematics company based in Johannesburg, Rosebank, is a looking to appoint a QA Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience as a QA Manager/Software Testing Manager
• Experience with large-scale end to end system testing and deployments across platforms and solutions
• A strong understanding of testing and automation technologies from both a technical and business perspective
• A strong understanding of the software development life cycle for enterprise software applications.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coach and mentor team members to ensure that there is consistency in testing across all testing teams
• Quality assurance around user interfaces and other parts of software.
• Draw up test cases to test products/solutions
• Manual testing (based on test plans and test cases)
• Continuous improvement of quality assurance process by frequently reviewing the existing process
• Functional, Regression, Front End, Back End testing
• Implement automated testing tools/functions in the team
• Facilitate UAT test
• Defect (Bug) logging, defect reporting and defect maintenance
• Assist in the planning, scheduling and prioritizing of software upgrades
• Draft documentation (upgrades, release notes) for internal/external use on products/solutions deployed
• Provide regular reports on the status of development sprints per software release
