    Service Technician Industrial Technique Jet Park

    Job Description

    To provide technical service and support to our customers, through regular on site visits, providing repairs and tool calibrations. Working as part of the Atlas Copco Service team, to continuously improve our customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: To provide Repairs and Field Service Support on Industrial Power Tooling including Electronic, Pneumatic hand held and fixturised tools. To provide the customer with technical support during breakdowns, over the phone and when required on site. To conduct regular customer visits providing technical support, assistance and guidance as and when required. To maintain records of all activities. To carry out calibrations and preventative maintenance tasks on a scheduled and planned basis, according to laboratory and ISO procedures. To plan, manage and carry out the installation of our equipment at the customers premises. To ensure all repair and calibration workshop documentation is completed correctly and up to date. To provide written reports on repairs and incidents as requested by management or the customer. To provide advice and feedback to the customer on the use of their equipment. To work as part of a team with our sales representatives and the customer to help address any support and technical issues.

    Experience Requirements

    Essential Flexibility in being able to respond to the customers demands – this will involve early starts and late finishes, as well as occasionally attending plant outside normal hours, in an emergency response capacity. Ability to take ownership of problems & finding solutions Has experience of providing a Service to customers. Experience of Repair Environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. PC Literate. Clean driving license. Good Health. Desirable: Has experience of a Manufacturing Environment. Has experience of Industrial Power Tools i.e. Pneumatic, Battery and DC. Programming experience.

    Knowledge

    Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Clean driving license. Technical qualifications. Grade 12 - Maths and Science. Programming experience. Experience of PLC’s and line control system. Mathematically inclined as formulations are involved Advanced Excel Knowledge.

    Personality Requirements

    Ability to take ownership of problems and find a solution Motivated, organised. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
