    Electrical Construction Manager

    Job Description

    • RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established Electrical Consulting Engineering firm is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join its Durban office. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional with extensive construction management experience on large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the construction and successful delivery of electrical engineering projects from inception through to completion.
    • Oversee contractors and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
    • Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
    • Coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors and clients throughout the construction phase.
    • Monitor project programmes, budgets, progress and reporting.
    • Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality management procedures.

    Requirements:

    • High Mast Lighting design and construction management.

    Job Description

    • RPO Recruitment's client, a respected Civil Consulting Engineering firm is looking for an experienced Civil Draughtsperson to join its Roads & Infrastructure team in Cape Town.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and update technical drawings and models for roads and civil infrastructure projects.
    • Develop Civil 3D models, including alignments, profiles, corridors, surfaces and utility networks.
    • Produce construction documentation, drawing registers and quantity information.
    • Work closely with engineers, technologists and project teams to ensure accurate and timely project deliverables.
    • Maintain drawing quality and ensure compliance with company standards, client specifications and quality management procedures.
    • Control drawing revisions, manage electronic drawing records and maintain document accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Participate in design coordination meetings and provide drafting support during project execution.

    Requirements:

    Job Description

    • RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join its Durban operations. This role is suited to a driven construction professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale civil infrastructure projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and cost control.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage civil construction projects from commencement through to successful completion.
    • Coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, plant and resources to achieve project objectives.
    • Develop and monitor construction programmes, ensuring works are completed on schedule.
    • Oversee daily production, monitor costs and implement corrective actions where required.
