RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established Electrical Consulting Engineering firm is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join its Durban office. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional with extensive construction management experience on large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the construction and successful delivery of electrical engineering projects from inception through to completion.
Oversee contractors and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
Coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors and clients throughout the construction phase.
Monitor project programmes, budgets, progress and reporting.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality management procedures.
Requirements:
High Mast Lighting design and construction management.
Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical projects.
Solar energy design and implementation projects.
Construction management and contract administration.
Structural assessments.
Project planning and scheduling using MS Project.
Experience managing projects with a construction value exceeding R25 million.
