Software Architect at Derivco

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect which has the following abilities:

• At least 10 years technical expertise in a technology used extensively throughout our system, e.g. C++, SQL, C#, .NET, web services.
• Minimum of 5 years expertise designing systems of substantial complexity
• Experience in Game technologies and Game Architecture 
• Proficient in OOP and various design techniques
• Detailed understanding of various Software Methodologies
• Must have continuously mentored people concurrently in terms of development skills.
• Must have proven record in terms of knowledge transfer.
• Must be an effective communicator. A software specialist will be required to collaborate with others in order to ensure the success of projects. A software specialist will also be expected to interact with client (operators) in terms of assessing their requirements and/or issues.
• Must have a proven track record in terms of driving software development best practices and standards.
• Must have a proven track record in terms of high quality documentation for projects worked on, including: - In code documentation - Architecture/Design documentation - Technical Documentation - User Documentation - System documentation This is crucial as a software specialist is not only expected to drive standards in documentation, but also produce documentation of an extremely high standard.
• Must have a proven track record in terms of dealing with change and adapting to challenges.
