ROLE PURPOSE

You’re a leader in Human Capital with extensive experience in Africa, Asia and United Kingdom. You’re passionate about people. If that’s you, you’ll be showing off your business acumen, influence and drive for results while designing and implementing innovative Human Capital solutions across various countries to achieve business goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS

• Develop and implement innovative and differentiated Human Capital strategies across various countries based on business objectives, country context, legislative requirements and MMI’s Human Capital strategies and frameworks.
• Provide strategic direction for the Human Capital teams in the various countries in order to develop Human Capital solutions, projects and execution plans across the employee lifecycle that are aligned with business priorities and enable leaders to drive performance and deliver results.
• Drive the implementation of innovative Human Capital solutions aimed at managing business change, engaging employees increasing business effectiveness and strategically managing talent across countries.
• Keep abreast of relevant trends, legislation and best practices within Africa, Asia and United Kingdom that impact the Human Capital environment in order to streamline and enhance service offering and delivery.
• Oversee the development and application of Human Capital metrics to measure the impact and successful implementation of Human Capital solutions.
• Build strategic partnerships and networks with business leaders across the various countries.
• Act as trusted coach and advisor to leaders in order to effectively support business decision making and leadership development.

• Control the budget for area, including the authorisation of expenditures and implementation of financial regulations.
• Facilitate a business culture that is consistent with the vision, purpose and values of the MMI business.
• Support the building of the Human Capital team’s capability in order to ensure that the team is equipped to strategically partner with business and provide leading solutions.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH

• Post graduate degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related field
• MBA (preferred)
• 8-10 years’ experience leading the Human Capital function within a geographically diverse environment
• 5 years senior management experience
• Exposure to strategic Human Capital management across Africa, Asia and United Kingdom
• Knowledge of the political, economic, social and Human Capital environment within Africa, Asia and United Kingdom
• Stakeholder management, commercial acumen, culturally sensitive
