    Detail Sales Representative: Nutritionals and Vaccines

    Job description

    OBJECTIVE: The promotion of Aspen Nutritional and Vaccines products within a certain geographical area to Private and State Health Care Practitioners.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To effectively manage the Gauteng Suburbs and surrounding areas.
    • Detail Aspen Nutritional products within the WHO Code of Marketing Breast Milk substitutes and the SA regulations R991.
    • Follow-up with HCPs to gather feedback and questions regarding experience with Aspen Nutritional and Vaccines products and to provide ongoing customer support.
    • Effective relationship management with internal and external customers and colleagues.
    • Provide feedback to sales management on customer requests and product access.
    • Adherence to business rules i.e. call rates standard, call logging etc.
    • Attending regular sales meetings, general meetings and cycle meetings.
    • Preparing month end report to RSM.
    • Organising and arranging training to HCPs.
    • Full coverage of Private Hospitals, Pharmacies, Paediatricians, Dieticians, Clinic Sisters and General Practitioners.
    • Tracking of Market Share.

    Requirements

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    • Knowledge of the Nutrition and Vaccines business/industry

    • Knowledge of both Aspen and competitor products

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Matric/ Grade 12
    • Must have the suitable tertiary qualification, i.e. BSc Dietetics/Nutrition, B Cur or Health Sciences qualification
    • Minimum 3 years Detail Representative Experience, previous nutritional basket experience/exposure.
    • Existing relationships with key customers would be an advantage
