Nova Pioneer seeks innovative, passionate and driven professionals who want to spend 3-6 months in Nairobi or Johannesburg solving complex challenges to help a young social enterprise expand world-class education across Africa. Examples Of Past Projects Have Included

The Nova Pioneer Global Innovation Fellows Program is an opportunity for professionals from around the world to contribute to transforming education on the African continent. As part of the program, you will work with a global function to either drive innovation in what we do or help us solve a challenge we are facing.

• Design and implement a new teacher recruitment engine to fuel our pipeline on the continent so we can scale to 100 schools over the next 10 years;
• Build a new site scorecard to help us pick the right sites for new schools;
• Design a student competency framework that evaluates both the academic and holistic progress of our students.

We are seeking passionate, driven individuals who will make substantive contributions to the organization as we scale. We are looking for people who have the desire to take on a new challenge in an entrepreneurial context. We seek people who want to do life-changing work with life-changing people.

About You

• You have an undergraduate degree
• You have at least 2-3 years of work experience in a high-expectations environment
• You have strong problem solving and analytical skills
• You have strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
• You have excellent communication skills on all levels
• You have a relentless desire to improve yourself, your team, and your organization;

We are looking for Fellows to spend at least 3-6 months in Nairobi or Johannesburg pushing the frontiers of innovation. While Nova Pioneer Fellows are provided with a living stipend, our hope is that the experience with Nova Pioneer will be rewarding and impactful for many years to come.
