    Tiko Channel Manager

    Job description

    REQUIREMENT:

    Triggerise seeks a Johannesburg based Channel and Ops Manager to launch and ensure the effective strategy and brilliant execution of Tiko Pro and Tiko Explore into the South African

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    The successful candidate should have:

    • Commitment to the mission, vision, and theory of change of Triggerise
    • Ability to embrace technology and use a variety of tools and apps
    • Ability to build and manage a budget (which requires rigour and creativity)
    • Passion for human interactions, especially in cross-cultural and social settings
    • Passion for working with consumers and customers is a must
    • Commercial mindset
    • Pharmaceutical sales or channel management is essential

    • RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Set up a full functioning, efficient and profitable commercial. More specifically:
    • Channel Strategy Development
    • Provide a fact-based assessment and recommended prioritization of Channels/ Customers per channel along with Strategies to optimise the Tiko Pro model and return for the business (1 and 3-year outlook) and Tiko Pro (agents)
    • Develop clearly articulated and time bound requirements by Channel including:
    • Integration of customer & business activities (launches & promotions)
    • Pricing strategy
    • Trading Term strategy
    • Promotional Strategy
    • Point-of-Purchase strategy
    • Selection of an optimal product mix for ROI to consumers (Tiko Explore), clients (Tiko Pros) and Triggerise
    • Route to Market Strategy: clear articulation of all routes-to-market indicating value, growths and cost to serve
    • Contractual set-up of new customers in line with the Route to Market partners
    • Pricing Mandates: develop and implement channel price parameters by SKU that delivers against margin requirements from the business, including:
    • Working knowledge of the GM requirements for each SKU
    • Understanding of the mix implication on agent value, business profitability and health impact
    • Develop a model which accommodates price, discount frequency, standard costs and GM expectations
    • Determine the Cycle & Promotional price mandates for all SKU’s
    • Delivery of a Pricing Strategy
    • Development of price adjustment rationale
    • POP Strategy: delivery of POP strategy by channel to drive operational excellence including:
    • Clear understanding of Shopper Behaviour across the category / categories
    • Translation of shopper insights to POP Drivers
    • Transaction builders
    • Purchase triggers
    • Value driving promotions
    • Channel Strategy Execution
    • Brilliant and seamless execution of the channel strategy with customers and shoppers including:
    • Promotional planning grids across channels
    • Evaluation & selection of POP media
    • Alignment of ATL & BTL activities with the Marketing team
    • Selection of channels / customers for innovation programs
    • Innovation activation i.e: new product listing and distribution
    • Pricing strategy linked to volume & margin delivery
    • Stock Management / Stock Pressure
      • Sales Operations Execution
      • Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the relevant Tiko Pro (agents) to ensure effective delivery against value and impact targets through:
      • Management of Tiko Pros performance,
      • Developing and communicating channel value targets
      • Monitoring delivery against targets via mandated relevant reports – implementing remedial action where necessary
      • Initiating and driving regular (monthly) agent cycle meeting to review sales and value performance and preview strategies to achieve targets
      • Develop, implement and monitor relevant value incentives with Tiko Pros as required (via Tiko Miles)
      • Meet with and manage Tiko Pros required to understand and resolve issues as they arise
    • Financial Management
    • Effectively manage channel promotional budgets via:
      • Monthly reconciliation of spend
      • Quarterly review of latest estimate versus agreed budget
      • Manage reporting outputs
