Job description

A 3 month Fixed Term Contract to administer, support, monitor and maintain the servers and server room infrastructure. Research, plan and implement system improvements. Manage and assist with technical planning and implementation of projects relating to the Server Infrastructure Environment. Ensure adequate infrastructure performance and capacity on an on going basis. Manage suppliers to a standard that will positively contribute to the success of the company. Manage budgets relating to server hardware and software.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• MCSE: Server Infrastructure, Messaging or equivalent Microsoft Certification
• Linux Certifications an advantage
• VMWare VCP
• Veeam Certified Engineer an advantage
• EMCISA (Information Storage Associate) an advantage
• Kaspersky experience an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years’ server hardware experience
• Minimum of 3 years' VMware experience
• Minimum of 2 years' Linux experience an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years' Advanced Active Directory experience
• Minimum of 5 years' troubleshooting of the latest Microsoft Operating Systems & Exchange Server products
• Minimum of 5 years' backup and recovery Software Experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with monitoring and reporting software, and environmental monitoring software

3 Month Contract

Cost to Company maximum R 35,000 per month
