    SEO/PPC Analyst

    Job description

    JOB SUMMARY

    An opportunity has arisen for a talented & driven SEO/PPC Analyst to join a specialist Search Optimised Content Marketing agency in our Cape Town office, South Africa.

    The successful candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience with in-depth knowledge of digital platforms, including Google Adwords, Google Analytics and comfortable with reporting aspects. English language is essential as well as a basic knowledge of HTML and SEO.

    The Digital Marketing Analyst will be required to:

    • Report on key metrics, analysing and interpreting trends and making recommendations for innovation and development
    • Run Pay Per Click Campaigns for multiple brands
    • Interpret data using BI reporting suites.
    • Conduct full SEO Audits, supporting the SEO Director with website analysis
    • Compile findings & provide recommendations that answer key client questions
    • Drive core insights from the data that drive fundamental improvements to site experience
    • Identify reporting requirements and deliver tailored dashboards to drive business KPIs
    • Research and evaluate new tools/capabilities - thinking about how we can always do things better.
    • Interrogate web analytics data to make recommendations that will lead to uplifts in online conversion
    • Continually assess the effectiveness of content as a means to driving positive outcomes, including the impact of the brand
    • Identify and monitor emerging trends and opportunities
    • Interpret, integrate and report on data requests from senior stake holders The successful candidate must be extremely adept at compiling and interpreting data as well as being comfortable handling big reports and custom reporting dashboards.

    EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 2-3 Years working within an agency environment
    • Excellent English skills
    • Proven skills in using Google Analytics, Google Adwords, DoubleClick, Screaming Frog and
    • other SEO Analysis Tools (or other 3rd party tracking tools)
    • Intermediate/advanced Excel skills including formulas, Pivot Tables and Macros
    • Excellent understanding of SEO and SEM strategy and KPIs tied to different channels
    • Ability to explain and sell analytical and commercial ideas to non-technical audiences
    • Experience with BI reporting Suites like Tableau
