    Key Account Manager

    Job description

    Key Account Management (and business development) of Logistics services within the retail market includes both General and Specialised Retail. Market coverage for this position would comprise of Cosmetics & Perfumes, Fashion, and Home products.

    Key Accounts knowledge

    • Have a regional overview and knowledge of the existing and potential business of the assigned Key Accounts as well as a sound understanding of the Key Accounts organization (international logistics & transport contacts and decision-makers)
    • Be the main Bolloré Logistics contact for the assigned Key Accounts in the Africa Zone
    • Be responsible for Customer Development Plan set up and maintenance for the assigned Key Accounts, in coordination with the direct and functional reporting lines.
    • Coordinate and manage individual sales contributions of country commercial and KAM resources in a consistent manner
    • Communicate effectively at C-suite level
    • Key Accounts development
      • Be responsible for the development of the assigned Key Accounts
      • Develop and perpetuate activity (Gross Margin) with the existing Key Accounts and acquire new traffics / activities through individual prospecting actions
      • Set-up a regional development strategy and coordinate country development strategy for the assigned Key Accounts
      • Share sales information (sales leads) with the network in order to increase penetration rate on the assigned Key Accounts
      • Set up lobbying actions on Key Accounts to make the company more visible and participate in future tenders
      • Sell Bolloré Logistics’ full range of services to the assigned Key Accounts with the help of relevant expertise (internal or external)
    • Tenders management
      • Develop a database of tenders to be issued by the assigned Key Accounts
      • Drive preparation to participate in tenders

    Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline
    • Previous Key Account management experience within the Logistics industry
