    Credit Officer - Ladybrand

    Main purpose of the position:

    • Providing support to the Credit Manager to ensure profitable growth in Debtors Book of the relevant Credit Office. This include the preparation of credit applications, opening and payouts of accounts, as well as handling client queries. These function and duties to be performed within the scope of OVK’s credit Policy and procedure.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 (with Accounting as subject an advantage);
    • 2 years debtors experience.

    Skills:

    • Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
    • Knowledge of financial statements;
    • Computer literate (MS Office);
    • Good numerical ability;
    • Must be able to take initiative;
    • Good time management skills;
    • Valid drivers license.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handling of credit applications;
    • Credit lending;
    • Service and liaison with existing and new Financing clients;
    • Administration and general tasks;
    • Consultations with debtors.

    Assistant Branch Manager - Graaff Reinet

    Main purpose of the position:

    • Participative and supportive management of the branch at a profit and providing sustainable service, trade and agricultural products in the designated area.

    Minimum Requirements:           

    • Grade 12 (an agricultural qualification will be an advantage);
    • 2 – 3 years experience in an agricultural environment;
    • Valid drivers license.

    Skills:

    • Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
    • Natural ability to successfully function in a competitive agricultural environment;
    • Computer literate (MS Office);
    • Good numerical ability;
    • Good organisational skills;
    • Ability to positively influence staff and take disciplnary action in accordance with the Labour Relations Act;
    • Good time management skills;
    • Strong leadership skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supporting management of administration;
    • Support to promote market share;
    • Supporting management to personnel matters;
    • Supporting management to stock control;
    • Supporting management and maintenance of assets.

    Main purpose of the position:

    • Profitable selling of agricultural equipment and provision of excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction.

    Minimum Requirements:         

    • Grade 12;
    • 2 – 3 years’ previous experience in the agricultural equipment industry;
    • Valid driver’s license.

    • Preparing transactions as per client specifications;

    • Financial management;
    • Administration.

    • Execution of assigned responsibilities, marketing and customer service within the parts environment.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 3-6 months in service training – Mechanisation;
