Set Building Manager - HomeChoice at HomeChoice Holdings Limited

Job description

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible to work closely with the photography studio, merchandise and marketing team, to create high-quality sets for photography, video and television productions

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

Responsibilities:

• Create high quality sets that successfully sell the products and support the brand
• Coordinate set builds according to the shoot schedule
• Continuously strive to increase the visual appeal and effectiveness of sets
• Manage the team of set builders
• Maintain the workshop and set builds in the studio
• Keep up to date records of materials that have been successful on sets
• Ensure set builds happen within the timeline allocated
• Collect and deliver hardware and supplies for the studio
• Liaise with stylists, photographers, head of studio and photography manager
• Work with marketing and merchandise to ensure images meet the campaign brief
• Create learning environment to develop set build team to take responsibility, personal ownership and initiate action

Requirements

Qualifications & Accreditations

• Grade 12 / Matric or Equivalent

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 3 years' managerial experience and the ability to lead a team
• 3 Years' project management experience within a relevant environment i.e. set building, carpentry, electrical work, spray booth and /or workshop
• Coordinating experience running various set builds within studio
• Proficient in MS Office with experience in Word, Excel and Outlook
