Green Cross, founded in 1975, is South Africa’s leading comfort footwear brand. An opportunity has become available for a Buying Manager based in Cape Town.

The Buying Manager's primary responsibility is to develop a range framework, and implement a disciplined range-building process, used to source, procure and build a balanced product range in line with the company strategy.

Additionally, the development of seasonal collections and the execution of strategic buying plans, overseeing product design development and quality, vendor and order management will be part of the function.

The Buying Manager will work closely with planning to achieve sales, gross profit and stock clearance targets, and design, development and sourcing to build an appropriate range for the GREEN CROSS customer base.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a senior merchandising and buying position
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in range building
• Previous work experience within the footwear industry will secure
• Completed relevant business qualification
