    Program Manager

    Job description

    ROLE MISSION STATEMENT:

     

    You will be responsible for the overall Program Management of various panels in South Africa and African markets (Angola, Kenya, Nigeria Tanzania and Zambia). Management of input processes (recruiting of panellists, installations, equipment, SIM cards, day to day panel management & queries), external 3rd parties (Installers, equipment and sim providers and incentive providers) as well as internal clients (e.g. Call Centre).

    KEY OUTCOMES

     

    • Management and evaluation of each project conducted with the panel from inception through to conclusion. Taking responsibility for the quality of the panel and its output to ensure that the panelist reaches the point of polling
    • Overall management of information for internal and external purposes including: Quotas, quality checks, panel composition.
    • Overall management of the panels and their health to ensure that the panel profile is balanced vs. subscriber base (monthly) which includes the recruitment of new panel members and replacing churned members.
    • Check that all documents have been correctly compiled and then dispatched to the correct parties and departments.
    • Design, testing and implementation of interviewing specs in line with output requirements
    • Keeping abreast of all new media developments and ensuring incorporation into project, questionnaires, quotas and stratifications.
    • Responsible for the performance management of the Panel Administrators.
    • Monitor and keep record of all project costs and budgets for your relevant Programs
    • Define and implement the project plan for the relevant panel.

     

    CAPABILITIES STATEMENT

     

    • Tertiary education, a degree (BCom, Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent)
    • Must have at least 3 to 5 years’ working experience and proven people and process management experience
    • Proven experience in project management and operational processes
    • Training experience an advantage
    • Must have a working knowledge of marketing research process as well as some knowledge of audience measurement research and television audience analysis systems
    • Experience in MS Project advantageous
