We are hiring a dynamic A-Player candidate with a passion for the Gaming and Multimedia Industry that can join our team as Course Coordinator and Lecturer.

As Course Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring effective management of our gaming courses in its entirety. Coordination should result in the delivery of a coherent curriculum that aligns teaching, learning and assessment activities with a sound academic framework, consonant with the policies and procedures that govern the institution as a whole.

Your responsibilities as Course Coordinator will be to take academic leadership and oversight of all programmes. This includes aspects of academic, quality assurance and administrative support.

COURSE COORDINATION:

• Academic
• Coordination of all teaching and learning activities related to the programme
• Oversight of implementation of academic related policies
• Work directly with instructors to secure academic approval for courses, based on course evaluation and feedback by instructors and students.
• Assist in the revision and updating of course material to ensure ongoing improvement of content and delivery in line with then intended outcomes of the qualification
• Quality assurance
• Monitor compliance with all the Higher educational quality assurance bodies.
• Coordinate self-evaluation of constituent modules
• Evaluation of performance of academic staff recommendation of additional training
• Participate in accreditation site visits and internal reviews.
• Administrative
• Dissemination of information pertaining to the current policies and best practice.
• Scheduling of training of academic staff for the betterment of the programme
• Maintenance of a systemic file system with student information and program records.
• Management of a learner management system (Student information Management)

LECTURING:

• Class presentation and facilitation
• Courseware and curriculum development.
• Creation of teaching aids and assets
• Formulation of assessment tools
• Test, assignment and exam marking
• Student support and query handling

Requirements:

• Undergraduate qualification in relevant field
• Proven experience in computer game development and design
• A body of work that demonstrates competency in creation, programming and publishing interactive games on a variety of platforms.
• Proficiency in the use of Unity
• Programming skills (C# JavaScript)
• Exposure to 3D modeling and environment workflows in 3DS Max
• Exposure and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
