With our regional HUB the company coordinates and manages all activities in Sub-Saharan Africa for its two business units product (machines and appliances) and provider (dialysis clinics).

Based in Johannesburg (South Africa) and reporting to the regional management in our headquarter in Germany, this role will be responsible creating an efficient and effective organization to better drive growth in the region and continue the transition of the product and provider business of Fresenius Medical Care in Sub-Sahara Africa countries (SS-A).

Your assignments

• Build, grow and manage the complete P&L for product and provider business
• Develop and implement the hub business strategy with special focus on achieving further market growth and maintaining our market leadership by leveraging additional growth potentials
• Drive organizational processes, strategies and initiatives for the region according to the EEMEA (Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa) strategy in cooperation with the Business Partners
• Manage overall country activities and set core processes and further drive improvements and efficiency
• Implement compliance processes according to local laws, regulations, internal business conduct and guidelines
• Establish partnership with customers and stakeholders in the health care sector and collaborate closely with EEMEA functions
• Coordinate and drive local business development activities by monitoring of local relevant market access and trends as well as reimbursement strategy and negotiations
• Represent Fresenius Medical Care towards governmental bodies and authorities
• Manage regulatory processes and meet the legal and regulatory requirements

Your profile

We are looking for an ambitious entrepreneurial leader with integrity and a clear vision and strategy. You are a convinced team player with a proven track record in bringing organizations to the next level. You are dedicated to growth and at the same time you set the path for efficient processes and procedures. You have shown an outstanding performance in an executive management role ideally in an international surrounding with a P&L responsibility having dealt with complex organizational changes. Moreover you have experience in handling challenging projects.

And you inspire your team to motivate them to grow and to follow you to make Fresenius Medical Care in South Africa and in the Sub-Sahara region even more successful than in the past.
