Salary plus commission market related

We are looking for a mid-level travel consultant with knowledge of Southern and East Africa Safari destinations to join our team, to be based in our reservations office in The Foreshore, Cape Town.

Start date: As soon as possible

Starting salary: Negotiable (based on experience)

Duties include:

Role

• Processing of enquiries from FIT and group client enquiries
• Building of travel itineraries to suit the requirements of the clients
• Admin associated with the bookings (invoice issuance and filing)
• Outbound telephonic sales calls to existing and potential clients.
• Management of client databases.
• Assistance with Trade Shows and Exhibitions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience working in the safari travel industry
• Solid computer literacy
• Good telephone manner
• Knowledge of Southern and East African Safari Destinations
• Photographic knowledge and experience advantageous but not essential.
