Compliance Specialist with AML at BMW Financial Services

FIXED TERM CONTRACT - 12 MONTHS

The Compliance Specialist will support the Compliance Officer in the execution of the Compliance framework in order to ensure a seamless culture of compliance whilst enabling BMW Financial Services to execute and deliver on its strategic deliverables. This role requires an experienced compliance risk management professional, who is highly skilled in the area of AML /Combatting the Financing of Terrorism (CTF).

The incumbent should have:

• Relevant Degree in Law/ Risk Management
• Certificate in Compliance Management
• Certificate in Money Laundering or similar
• 3- 5years Experience in compliance risk management particularly experienced in AML compliance risk management
• Fulfilled a regulatory Risk & Compliance role preferably within the Financial Services industry together with operational experience in this regard.
• Report writing/Policy drafting expertise

Job Outputs:

• Embedding and monitoring the effectiveness of the compliance risk management/AML framework.
• Development of an AML framework (policy, procedure, internal rules).
• Assisting in the development, maintenance and management of the Regulatory Universe.
• Assisting business with the development and maintenance of Compliance Risk Management Plans.
• Perform monitoring reviews in line with the compliance coverage plan. Assist business with creating the appropriate controls required to achieve compliance.
• Conduct training and awareness in respect of regulatory amendments.
• Facilitate compliance with the BMW Group Compliance Regulations, Guidelines, Instructions, Corporate Rules and Policies.
• Implementation of compliance processes, tools and IT-systems.
• Provide advice, assistance, and guidance across business in respect of compliance process requirements.
• Administer Customer Complaints Management and Declaration of interest including gifts and perform other administration as required.
