    Managing Director - MS Gold Partner

    Job description

    My client, a Microsoft Gold Partner on the Sharepoint, CRM and DevOps side is currently growing their EXCO and looking for a Managing Director to join the team and oversee their inland practice. The inland business comprises of 83 employees and is predominantly a delivery-focused business.

    Responsibilities:

    The MD will ultimately be responsible for the company's performance the Managing Director will report in to the Group CEO whilst leading a Board of Directors.

    A summary of responsibilities follows:

    • Successfully implementing company policy
    • Developing strategic plans in line with Group Strategy
    • Maintaining a dialogue between shareholders and the board
    • Overseeing finance and operations to ensure successful execution
    • Building and maintaining an effective management team
    • Assuming full accountability for the board for all company operations
    • Successfully achieving the budget and business plans quarterly
    • Measures effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to improve processes
    • Develops and implements growth strategies
    • Provides mentoring to management level employees, and visibility and approachability to all Employees
    • Motivates staff to meet or surpass organisational and sales goals
    • Coordinates with Human Resources to drive Talent Management and Retention
    • Oversees daily operations and makes adjustments as necessary
    • Presents new ideas and cash flow strategies to board of directors and other company officers
    • Directs acquisitions and sales of assets to meet organisation goals
    • Drive success business development to meet the business growth targets
    • Promotes communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that arise

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Relevant undergraduate degree
    • Management skills at Executive Level
    • Preferably from a Microsoft solution focused environment (i.e. worked with Sharepoint, CRM and various MS applications and tools)
    • Business Acumen
    • Visionary leadership
    • Ability to motivate a workforce
    • Effective management and delegation
    • Communication and negotiation
    • PR and presentation skills
    • Understanding of a multi-faceted business operation
    • Strong financial acumen
    • Planning and forecasting
    • In depth knowledge of markets and changing business environments
    • Complex problem solving
    • Effective decision making

    Salary is dependent on level of skills, experience and qualifications
