    Solution Sales Executive

    Job description

    The FICO's Solution Sales Executives (SSE) function as product specialist, sales drivers from demand generation through to contract close. This position is responsible for achieving sales targets by selling the communication automation products. Your territory is South Africa initially, with a rest of Africa path. Ideally you’ll be based in Johannesburg, surrounded by our existing major accounts and target new customers. The primary industries of focus are retail banking, telecoms and financial services of other industries, such as retail.

    Responsibilities

    • Build relationships with C-Level buyers / key influences
    • Negotiate and Drive sales activity
    • Qualify and progress in-bound leads to close
    • Develop and Manage to a Territory Plan that generates sufficient pipeline to meet quota targets
    • Consult with client to craft solution and value proposition to their specific needs demands
    • Develop and write customer facing proposals and RFP responses
    • Develop client proposal that meet or exceed client needs

    Skills & Experience

    • Experience in digital customer communication automation/Omni-channel services
    • Understanding of Fraud, Collections or Customer Service processes and operations
    • Comfortable becoming a local SME of a complex platform, with support from London, UK
    • Sold complex software solutions to enterprise clients
    • Demonstrated success in enterprise software sales
    • Experience in selling directly in to C-level executive leaders, selling application development solutions
    • Ability to effectively communicate across the client organization; from hands-on technical resources to C-level executives
