Main Purpose:

Provide direct support to the HR Director and ensure that all agreed to deadlines are delivered on time. Deliver HR services directly and through a team of HR professionals, procedures, and processes that are considered value added, measurable, directly tied to the Company’s business objectives, and aimed at increasing employee success and satisfaction. Serve as a subject matter expert on a wide range of HR topics. Overseeing the development of the Shared Services, identifying development areas and providing coaching as needed; Oversee the development of the HR Shared Services . Initiate and lead best practice sharing and process improvement in HR operations. Contribute to the strategic direction of Human Resources through active participation on the HR operations leadership team; lead and participate on HR projects in support of the company’s business strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting and supporting HR Director to ensure 100% compliance on all agreed upon deadlines.
• Provides support and guidance to HR Managers and operations managers on internal procedures and process related to recruitment, including approval processes and timelines.
• Problem-solve issues, and use discretion and demonstrated business acumen to escalate complex cases to HRD.
• Develop metrics and reporting for measuring delivery effectiveness.
• Provide direct support and leadership of HR metrics, reporting, and advanced and predictive analytics.
• Supports the Human Resource partners to identify business challenges and use data analysis to help influence changes to the operations, process or programs.
• Create, maintain, and ensure quality assurance of human resources metrics.
• Ensure HR audits are conducted bi-yearly.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on a wide range of HR topics.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years HR Management experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience resolving complex human resources issues.
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, benefit administration and management, recruiting, payroll, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity programs, performance management, and respective employment laws.
• Required to travel between Business Units .
• Strong experience working in a logistics environment .
