    Account Executive

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a data-driven and client-focused Account Executive to join our Yoyo API team. The Yoyo API team provides corporates with the simplest way to reward their customers and employees.
    • You will take on a significant role in our cross-functional team, establish a good understanding of our product offering, and strategically guide clients towards implementing what Yoyo does best.
    • The role will be weighted towards commercial implementation of the new Yoyo API cashback product in the market and business development for the new product. This includes working with senior stakeholders to identify product market fit, pricing models, target audience and go to market strategy.
    • Implementing the go-to market strategy alongside the Marketing and Lead Generation team, tracking and improving key metrics that drive commercial success.
    • Providing a feedback loop between sales prospects to the product and commercial teams to improve the product value proposition and customer experience
    • Business development for Yoyo API – inbound lead qualification, closing of sales and handover to the accounts team.
    • Account management of key clients in your portfolio– building trusted relationships with clients, day to day support and growing revenue through the Yoyo products by identifying and closing upsell opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Business development of new sales
    • Identifying opportunities within the existing client base and new prospects and target markets
    • Qualifying leads to identify prospects based on a product and commercial fit
    • Writing and presenting proposal to client and closing the sale
    • Support senior product and commercial stakeholders in identifying product market fit through tracking key product and commercial metrics and actioning steps to drive commercial growth. This may include working with Product Managers on product feature changes, getting market feedback through potential client conversations and/or working with marketing to tweak the product marketing messages and lead generation strategies
    • Overall accountability for the success and satisfaction of the YoyoAPI clients in your portfolio
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular status meetings
    • Execute operational tasks like guiding clients on best way to implement our rewards, work with relevant stakeholders to activate new reward campaigns and ensure accurate billing information for finance teams
    • Up-sell and cross-sell on assigned accounts e.g. talk to new business units on how our tech can be used in their world, expand reward partners or upsell new product verticals
    • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalation as needed
    • Maintain commercial revenue forecasts for internal decision making across accounts portfolio and new sales
    • Assist the legal team to sign off contracts and associated legal and governance documentation
    • Consistently live out, act, work and exhibit behaviours aligned to and congruent with company
    • The position has a 60:40 weighting in terms of Business Development vs Account Management
       

    Knowledge, Skills & Aptitudes

    • 5+ years of Account Management experience
    • Exceptional client service/account management skills
    • Account Management experience with corporates of medium and enterprise size would be preferable
    • Knowledge of accounts and sales processes
    • Appreciation of project management processes, Software Development Life Cycle process and integration process to better support clients
    • Experience in working in a digital environment and a passion for tech
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Has been responsible for managing deliverables and taking a project live
    • A logical thinker with a passion for solving problems
    • Ability to have tough/critical conversations
    • Proactive with a sense of urgency
    • Deadline driven and delivery orientated
    • Attention to detail is critical
    • Organised with the ability to prioritise and plan
    • Accountable and willing to take ownership

    Qualifications

    Any relevant Tertiary Qualification i.e. E-Commerce, Marketing, Account Management, etc.
