    Account Management Lead

    The role

    • Manage a team of account managers across multiple client segments, and take accountability for overall client engagement, organic revenue growth, business retention, and the development of meaningful relationships with key stakeholders across various business divisions.

    What you will be doing

    • Develop, maintain and manage a team of high performing account managers
    • Ensure team follows the current client engagement model, track engagement activities, and monitor quality output in terms of administrative duties
    • Drive the concept of “client experience” by building meaningful relationships with clients across multiple business segments in order to establish alignment between clients and Iress
    • Manage and report back on organic revenue growth and client retention in line with agreed revenue forecasts
    • Deliver quality and professional client and partnership plans, outlining client strategic direction and action plans to deliver against client objectives
    • Monitor outstanding client queries, and ensure clients receive timeous feedback on outstanding items
    • Be a point of escalation for unresolved issues, ensuring these are logged with the appropriate teams and escalate to internal teams and/or senior leaders where necessary
    • Ensure the clients’ business needs, requirements and frustrations are communicated to the appropriate Iress business & product leaders and in turn, potential solutions to be communicated back to the clients
    • Oversee all contracts, commercials and administration documentation produced by the account managers, including signing off monthly billing process
    • Own the Client RelationshIp Management tool, ensure accurate client information is captured and drive consistent administrative processes
    • Ensure proper client segmentation, which includes a focus on strategic clients, and have the appropriate account manager/s assigned to each client
    • Consult with internal business and product owners by providing industry and client insights to help shape and influence product capabilities and roadmap
    • Work with marketing to ensure appropriate communication of Iress initiatives, news and notices
    • Responsible for the driving of a continuous improvement culture and associated initiatives to ensure growth and improvement in the way account management function, and provide insight on how processes can further be improved to enhance efficiencies
    • Be an ambassador for both the client and Iress
    • People Leader Responsibilities
       
      • Set strategic direction for the team so that they have a clear understanding of Iress’s objectives and how the team needs to deliver on those objectives
      • Outline the team’s goals with regards to the company’s winning steps, their role in achieving those winning steps, and monitor progress
      • Have continuous conversations with each individual in the team where you agree and update winning steps, discuss how individuals are performing against agreed objectives, provide constructive feedback and record individual achievements and growth plan goals
      • Manage leave, performance, and disciplinaries with support from People@Iress BP’s
      • Identify any skills gaps for each individual and develop and implement a plan to address them
