    Head Miller (Harrismith)

    Description

    • To drive the technical performance of raw material and product processes in order to achieve optimum productivity and world-class quality standards, while keeping the operational cost within budget. 

    Requirements

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • Minimum of 4 years experience as a Miller

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Ensure effective internal and external communication to all permanent, outsourced and Head Office personnel
    • Timeous, correct and effective dissemination of information to all employees within your department

    • Manage fumigation equipment and chemicals to ensure zero infestation within the mill and silo
    • Build and maintain sound relationships with internal and external clients.
    • Monitor all functional operational costs, measure and analyse purchases and operational costs against the budget 
    • Ensure compliance with both HACCP and ISO standards, the quality management system manual and health and safety regulations
