Accountant Asset Management at Greater Letaba Municipality

Annual Salary:

• R 400 381.40 (Excluding benefits)

Requirements:

• Grade 12. A minimum qualification of Diploma / Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent qualification. Minimum of 02 - 03 years relevant experience in Finance. Knowledge of local government legislations. MFMA certificate will be an added advantage. A valid driver's license.

Computer literacy:

• MS Office.

Purpose of the Job:

• Compiles and maintains assets and inventory register. Transfers of assets and write off. Preparing of assets and fleet reports. Physical verification of municipal assets and labelling of new assets. Prepares sale of assets through auction or other prescribed means of disposal of assets exceeding the allowable life cycle. Ensures that assets are insured.
