Accountant - Midrand at BAUER Technologies South Africa Ltd

Minimum requirements:

• The ideal candidate must be a South African citizen, or be in possession of a permanent residence permit
• BCom Accounting Degree
• 3-4 years experience in a similar environment
• SAP B1 experience would be advantageous

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the full accounting function for our Namibian subsidiary and assist with accounting duties for our South African subsidiary
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Compile monthly management statements
• Responsible for cashbook, debtors, creditors, costing and revenue analysis Creditors/debtors reconciliations
• Payment of creditors and salaries
• Depreciation of assets and maintaining fixed asset register
• Reconciliations of VAT account and import VAT account
• PAYE and VAT submissions
• Provisional tax calculations
• Identifying cost saving initiatives
• Bank reconciliations
• Cash flow planning and management
