Job Advert Summary    

• Moore Southern Cape is looking for an Accountant in our Entrepreneurial Advisory Division. • The purpose of the job is to process client information on a monthly and/or annual basis into the accounting system, and produce annual financial statements for sole proprietors, partnerships, close corporations, trusts, body corporates and companies.
• Successful candidates will be able to operate effectively in a busy team, juggling multiple assignments, deadlines and competing priorities. 

Minimum Requirements    

• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Outlook, Pastel, Xero E-filing, Easyfile and preferably Caseware)
• 2-3 years bookkeeping experience within a CA firm preferable
• Recognised accounting qualification (Degree/Diploma)

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Gather client information
• Process and reconcile monthly client transactions and produce client statutory returns
• Prepare working paper files
• Draft annual financial statements on Caseware system
• Resolve review queries from the Manager/Director and complete final entries as per Director’s finalisation
• Complete tax returns
• Manage individual productivity and budgets
• Training, coaching and on the job training
• Attend to client/tax queries
