Accountant:Risk Finance at Old Mutual

Provide quality Management Reporting administration services for the Mutual & Federal Risk Finance team in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate Management Reporting operations.

Key Objectives

• Effectively maintaining financial standards and providing Management Reporting services.
• Prepare and load payments on the banking online platform.
• Prepare and load month end journals into general ledger.
• Conduct analytical review of results to ensure complete and accurate prior to distribution.
• Prepare and distribute monthly reports to executive and senior management.
• Analyse and report on variances to plan and prior year.
• Perform relevant reconciliations and reasonability tests of control and reserve accounts.
• Maintain, develop and enhance various reports on Oracle and SAS FM to ensure relevance, accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to queries as and when required.
• Quality service delivery.
• Provide customer services in line with quality and performance standards.
• Build positive customer relations and solve or escalate customer queries and complaints.
• Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and report to the relevant party.

Minimum Requirement

• B Com Accounts
• 3 years’ experience in field of financial reporting.
• 3 years’ experience in working on Oracle
