Job Description:

• An innovative Australian accounting firm is looking for a dedicated Accountant to join their growing team in Cape Town, South Africa.
• They are a fast-growing, results-driven organisation, with clients ranging from start-ups to well-established companies. As an Accountant, you will work closely with the Directors and Managers to deliver an exceptional client experience and helping the clients make their businesses count.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns for Individuals, Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and SMSFs.
• Preparation of BAS/IAS.
• Preparation of Budgets & Cashflows.
• Liaise with clients.
• Communicate with the ATO and other regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

• Qualified AGA (SA) 
• Ideally ±2 years of post-article experience.
• Experienced working with Xero Practice Manager is a requirement.
• Experience with client management (highly desirable).
• Current tax experience (EMP201's, VAT, personal income tax returns) is a must.
