Accounts Payable Executive - South Africa at FIXR

About the role

We are looking for an accounts payable executive who will be responsible for all client payments and client financial reporting. The successful candidate will be an ambitious and organised individual with excellent communication skills and mathematical aptitude.

This role is based in our Cape Town office with 2 days per week working from home if preferred. 

Requirements

• Keen interest in accounting and finance.
• Ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• You must have an existing right to work in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing daily client payments.
• Building and sending out payment summaries for clients.
• Liaising with the client operations and finance teams to devise and develop financial reporting for clients.
• Preparing client payments reports and summaries for internal analysis.
• Facilitating payment of events in various countries.
• Overseeing dispute management and refunds.
• Working with the product team to improve financial reporting for clients in our tech stack.
• Helping develop systems and processes to automate payments and reporting.

Experience 

• You will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• You will have a University degree
