Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Making good progress toward an Actuarial qualification
• 3–5 years’ experience in an actuarial role
• Exposure to life and non-life insurance is advantageous
• Experience with pricing and product development in the insurance industry

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyse mortality, morbidity, and lapse rates (life insurance)
• Monitor performance metrics like loss ratios, frequency, and severity (non-life)
• Compile reports and dashboards for stakeholders

Pricing & Product Development

• Develop pricing models and conduct profitability analysis
• Support new product development and deal structuring

Risk Management

• Perform stress testing and scenario analysis
• Assess underwriting risks and support risk mitigation strategies

Regulatory Compliance

• Assist with statutory and regulatory reporting
• Ensure products meet all regulatory standards

Experience Studies & Assumptions Setting

• Conduct experience studies and update pricing/reserving assumptions

Collaboration & Communication

• Engage cross-functionally with underwriting, finance, and product teams
• Present actuarial insights to senior management and external partners

Professional Development

• Stay current with industry trends and evolving regulatory requirements
• Actively participate in actuarial exams, training, and events
