Grade 12 with at least two or more years of experience appointed in a clinical/Hospital environment, computer literacy. The Ideal candidate must have organizational and time management skills.
Have a knowledge of the legislative and policy framework informing the area of operation. Ability to prioritize issues and work-related matters and comply with time frames set.
Have excellent communication skills ( both verbal and written). Must be willing to work shifts including Sundays and public holidays, flexible and be able to work under pressure. Sound knowledge of Customer care and Batho principles.
Duties :
Work in different areas such as patient affairs, wards, patient records/filling area, OPD, Mortuary, sub-cashier and clinics) within the hospital. Register patients using SAP/HIS system, effective and efficient implementation of patient administration duties. Safe guard patients records. Complete and sign gpf4,gpf5 and gpf3, attend to patient queries, assist in collection of revenue as per hospital needs.
Classify patients correctly, collect files from wards and discharge on the system. Provide clerical duties to the unit to enable the attainment of predetermined goals and objectives. Conduct effective and efficient information flow and documentation of file tracking. Timeous capture data on the system.
