    POSITION OVERVIEW

    Based at Cape Town to further strengthen our local Finance team, we are currently seeking a:

    • ADMIN CLERK - (Cape Town, South Africa)
    • Reporting directly to the Branch and Operations Manager, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible for:
    • Providing/or assisting the Branch/Operations/finance with the daily administrative functions of the branch.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Involved in the daily cash banking process by preparing the FG bag for daily collection as well as drawing out the cash for our Petty cash re-imbursements.
    • Assist in the de-briefing of drivers’ log sheets and invoices (checked for all proof of deliveries (PODs) and correct chain store paperwork); followed up with missing invoices with warehouse/drivers.
    • Assist on balancing of the drivers’ log sheets to their drop slips on a daily basis and report this to Debtors Supervisor.
    • Assist debtors in daily filing.
    • Email PODs and credit notes requested by customers.
    • Couriering of monthly statements and PODs – certain chain stores.
    • Perform reception duties at the branch.
    • Be prepared to assist in any other department for general admin duties.

    PROFILE

    • Matric (Grade 12); Basic Business Administration or Accounting Diploma preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year in a Financial Background; food sector (FMCG) preferable
    • Languages: English is a prerequisite
    • Computer literacy: Office computer (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word), and SysPro experience would be an advantage
    • Dynamic and professional attitude. bilingual, good telephonic and communication skills.
