Administration Clerk: Transport at Free State Department of Community,Safety Roads and Transport

REQUIREMENTS :

• Applicants must display competency in the core functions of the post. Be a citizen of the Republic of South Africa, of which documentary proof must be furnished.
• Must be in possession of Grade 12/ Senior Certificate/ NCV Level 4/ NQF Level 4 or equivalent appropriate qualification as recognised by SAQA. Relevant courses in the field of the post will serve as an added advantage. General computer literacy skills. Demonstrate competency in acting independently, professionally, accountable and with credibility.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Sound planning, organizing, administrative and problem – solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Customer focus and responsiveness. Be willing to work under pressure and extended hours. 

DUTIES :

• Ensure that vehicles are available for official duties when required. Ensure that drivers are in compliance with departmental transport policies.
• Issuing of Fleet Management vehicles to departmental officials, permanent allocation and general hire. Maintain records of all general hire vehicles leased to departments.
• Administration of processes related to Transport support (Filling and retrieving transport records and printing attendance registers and supporting documents)
