Administration Officer: Security Management at Department Of Public Works And Infrastructure

REQUIREMENTS :

• A minimum three-year tertiary qualification (NQF 6) in Security & Risk Management, Public Administration/ Management Science or equivalent qualification. Relevant years of experience in the field.
• SSA Security Management Course will serve as an added advantage. Sound knowledge of applicable legislation, policies and practices. 

DUTIES :

• Assist with the management of the security services unit at Nelspruit Regional Office and all the state properties falling within the jurisdiction of the Regional Office. Conduct physical, personnel, document, communication and IT security appraisals and security investigations.
• Conduct screening of personnel and other stakeholder. Assist in the development and monitoring of sound security policy, strategy and management and relevant stakeholders. Liaise with SSA, SAPS and other stakeholders in the field of security. Conduct security awareness.
• Render advice on security matters and keep track of development in the security field for reviewing security measures in the Unit. Assist in any other general duties assigned by your supervisor.
