An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 1-year relevant experience; A valid (Code B or higher) driving license. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.
Competencies: Working knowledge of the following: IPS/LOGIS and BAS; Relevant legislation/ policies/ prescripts and procedures; Financial regulations and instructions to ensure smooth administrative functioning of the financial administration and procurement; knowledge of working procedures in terms of the working environment; Disciplinary code and procedures; People management;

Supervise implementation and administration of the external developmental initiatives “EDI” Programmes: Comprehensive Agricultural Support Programme (CASP); Agricultural Partnership for Youth Development (APFYD); Young Professional Persons Programme (YPP); and Premiers Advancement of Youth (PAY)/ Fist Working Experience; Coordination agricultural partnership for youth development projects and internship;
Administer internships, and the Agricultural Partnership for Youth Development and Internship and bursaries programmes; Perform administrative functions; Promotion of Agriculture as a career path for youth (travel extensively to promote agriculture as a career of choice throughout the Western Cape province, including working after hours and weekends when required); People Management.
