Adobe Experience Manager (Java Dev) 

Redheads Engineering Solutions has an opening for a Senior Java Developer (Adobe Experience Manager essential). We are looking for a Java developer with 8+ years of experience with solid experience in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)

Related activities:

• Ensure that all processes are investigated/considered in obtaining the specifications of the user requirements
• Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives
• Review and present proposed system solution to IT Project Manager / Leader and User Management or System owner
• Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
• Ensure that the following steps in the Development Cycle are executed:
• Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards)
• Preparation of user and operation manual
• User training
• System testing/parallel runs
• System implementation
• System audits/quality assurance
• Maintenance Requests: Ensure that all processes have been investigated/considered in obtaining the specifications of the user requirements
• Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives.•Review and present proposed system solution to User Organisation
• Ensure that the following steps in the Development Cycle are executed: Preparation of system/technical documentation, Preparation of user and operation manual, User training, System testing/parallel runs, System implementation, System audits/quality assurance, User sign-off.

• Java 8+
• JEE 7 / Glassfish (not mandatory)
• Spring Boot 2
• Messaging
• Databases / SQL / NOSQL

Specialised Technologies:

• Apache Kafka: Messaging, Filtering / Selection, Transformation
• Elastic Search: Indexing, Queries, etc.
• Kibana
• Adobe Manager

Frontend Technologies:

• Angular 2+ (not mandatory)

Tools:

• Git
• Grafana

Atlassian tools:

• Jira, Confluence
• Jenkins

Architecture:

• Microservices tools:
• Netflix stack, for eg. hystrix
• OpenShift / Kubernetes (mandatory)
• Cloud providers/technologies, eg. AWS
• API management, f.ex. service discovery
