    Advances Technical Support Supervisor

    Perform the role of an approver for the following functions:

    CSM

    To ensure CIF creation is approved correctly based on the following:

    • FICA status.
    • Branch.
    • Customer type.    
    • Correct fields completed accurately in additional fields.
    • Financial information checked for accuracy for individuals and companies.

    Vendor creation and approval

    To ensure vendor creation and approval is created and approved correctly based on the following:

    • Correct supplier is created.
    • Correct vendor GL is chosen.   
    • Vendor is flagged correctly on the back end.

    FMS

    Collaterals

    • To ensure that collaterals for all finance transactions are checked with the highest level of accuracy and approved correctly according to deadlines and thereby improving efficiency.

    Facility Approval

    • Correct customer is reflecting.
    • Finance amount is correct.     
    • Correct Committee is chosen depending on exposure.
    • Correct collaterals are assigned to the facility.    
    • Custom fields are completed correctly.
    • Correct charge codes and amounts are assigned to the facility.
    • Repayment plan is reflected correctly.  
    • Correct documents are uploaded on to Docuware based on the applicant.      

     
    IIS

    • Checking and approving of IIS deals for accuracy and completeness for all product types, i.e Motor Vehicle, Equipment, Property and Trade
    • Liaison with Centralised Credit Hub.

    Other

    • Will provide support to the Department in the event the Advances Technical Support Manager is on leave.
    • Will perform other tasks as and when required which will also include the duties of an Advances Technical Support Assistant
    • Staff Management takes responsibility for the supervision and performance of the Advances Technical Support Assistants and delegation of tasks.
    • Ensure new advances technical support staff are adequately trained.
    • Authorises any staff leave requests; overtime and claims as per the Employee Self Service (ESS) System

    Requirements
    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Relevant Diploma/Degree in Banking / Finance
    • Computer skills

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

    • At least 2 years’ experience within a Financial Services institutions
    • General banking experience would be an advantage
