Afrikaans Speaking Au Pair | Kempton Park | R8000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Glen Marais, Kempton Park
• Children’s Ages: 9 year old (Girl) and 4 year old (Boy)
• Working hours: Monday – Friday 14:00 – 17:00
• School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• Duties: Collect from school, take them to any extra murals, appointments or lessons, assist and oversee homework is done, creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for the children, prepare a light snack or meal, educational play and games and ensure bags are packed for the next day. Working hours are slightly flexible around extra murals.
• Special Requirements: The ideal candidate would be reliable, caring, and energetic, with previous childcare experience and contactable references. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage daily routines effectively and engage positively with children. An Afrikaans-speaking candidate is preferred.
• Start Date and contract term: July – permanent  
• Salary: R8000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
