Afrikaans Speaking Tutor | Groenkloof, Pretoria | R250 Per Hour at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Groenkloof, Pretoria
• Children’s Ages: Grade 8
• Child’s Neurodivergence Snapshot: Dyslexia and ADHD – light diagnosis. Reading is a bit slower. More of a verbal learner.
• Support Style: Medicated. She is very creative and loves drawing and is quite active, enjoys running – this helps her when she is having a tough day.
• Working hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 15:00 – 17:00
• School holiday hours: Not required.
• Duties: General tutoring assistance required going over all subjects, ensuring she understands her work and answering any questions. She needs support in studying and with some homework assignments. She is very verbal and likes to talk through work and concepts, studying through discussion.
• Special Requirements: Afrikaans speaking candidate.
• Start Date and contract term: 6 April – permanent
• Salary: R250 per hour | +- R6500 per month

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
