What are we looking for?

• We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

Education:

• A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree specialising in Afrikaans; OR
• A Bachelor’s degree in Afrikaans, Afrikaans Literature or relevant field, with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Professional Registration:

• Valid SACE registration.

Experience:

• Prior teaching experience within the Intermediate, Senior, or FET phases.
• A proven track record of successful Afrikaans instruction.
• CAPS curriculum knowledge essential; IEB or Cambridge curriculum experience 

Other Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
• Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.
• Passionate about developing young people academically and holistically.
• Willingness to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
