What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

• Studying towards a B.Ed Foundation phase or Intermediate Phase, in either their 3rd or 4 th year of studies.
• Tutoring or Au Pair experience would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A team leader, able to manage a team of 3 teacher assistants Innovative ideas to assist learners with homework and to provide fun and educational holiday care programmes.
• A determination to take our aftercare programme to a new level.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position.
• A passion for children.
• Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills.
• An energetic, positive approach to their vocation.
• Patience and compassion to work with children.
• A clear criminal record.

The responsibilities are:

• Assist in the planning of after-school and vacation activities.
• Stock control.
• Quality control, communication with parents and other stakeholders, marketing and financial management.
• Assist in the planning of healthy eating plans.
• Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
