Manage the overall Commercial and Intermodal Strategies for the cluster, in close coordination with the General Manager, ILS Manager and Senior Commercial Manager
Lead the commercial network directly and transversally, while respecting business objectives and implementing corrective actions when necessary
Lead on the commercial segmentation of the Company's business and identify new business opportunities, including of the day-to-day shipping business
Ensure all commercial and intermodal KPIs are achieved and that corrective measures are in place to address identified shortfalls
Maintain and develop excellent relationships with internal stakeholders (notably DRO & HO commercial and ILS, but also with peers in the region) and external stakeholders (notably key customers, transport providers and influential trade bodies)
Demonstrate a ruthless obsession for cost and revenue at all times. Encourage similar mindset throughout his/her teams
At all times to deputise for the General Manager as and when required
Assist the General Manager in key areas of the agency functioning, notably, effective cross-departmental collaboration, talent development & succession planning
Act as an instigator for entrepreneurial and creative thinking throughout the agency
Exhibit exemplary selling and promotion of the CMA CGM Brand and product offering at all times
Skills and Qualifications
Degree in a related field (Honours degree would be an added advantage)
