    Agile PMO Chapter Lead.

    Role Objectives

    • Ensure that the Agile PMO best practice and modern trends are maintained and upheld as well as maintain continuous improvement of the Hollard Insure IT Project Governance Framework in line with such practices with an objective of establishing a culture of excellence in the field of Project Management, Scrum Masters and Agile Coaching. Develop and maintain effective business relationships throughout all areas of HI

    Key Responsibilities

    • Leadership responsibility for the people in the Chapter
    • Work collaboratively with the rest of the IT Manco team to deliver against the IT Strategy
    • Providing thought leadership on an Agile PMO based on the industry trends
    • Introduce “New Ways of Working” including adoption in Scrum Masters and ensure the successful rollout and implementation of change aligned to the SAFe Framework. Responsible for capacity management for the people in the team. Manage Project Communication and Reporting
    • Continuously find ways to improve project delivery
    • Act as Change Agent for the “New Ways of Working” and transition project Managers to Scrum Masters
    • Plan, Monitor, Control and Close projects. Assist in Program Increment Planning and Execution
    • Development & maintenance of a competent PMO team, providing leadership, succession and talent management through open communication and delegation of responsibilities and authority within a heavily matrixed operating environment. Provide informal and formal coaching support to team in their personal and professional development
    • In conjunction with HR, Recruit, select and retain highly qualified professionals
    • Work closely with and build excellent relationships with key stakeholders
    • Translation of and implementation of the Hollard Way, culture and values in the team

    Required Knowledge and Experience    

    • 3-5 years' experience on DevOps Tools e.g. Jira, Docker, Azure DevOps
    • At least 8 years’ experience as a Programme or Project Manager
    • A well-rounded understanding of short-term insurances and associated processes will be a distinct advantage
    • A very good understanding of personal lines and commercial lines insurance product knowledge

    Educational Requirements    

    • Project Management Thought Leadership
    • Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects. Sound understanding of short-term insurance
    • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, SAFE, as well as modern Project Management practices
    • Strong presentation skills at Senior and Executive levels and Good communication including verbal and business writing skills
