Analyst, Advanced Analytics at Standard Bank Group

Job Description

• To perform deep specialist analysis, develop intelligence and report robust insights in order to influence the strategic objectives of the Standard Bank Group and enable executive decision-making. Act as the subject matter expert to collect data from various sources in order to perform analysis utilising various visualisation and business intelligence tools to provide a clear understanding and insights.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• First Degree in Business Commerce, Mathematical Sciences, Statistics or Engineering

Experience Required

• 2 -3 years of experience in reporting, accounting, statistical analysis would be required.
• Assist with analysis that informs the fee price points for Standard Bank customers and build models that proactively identify and address revenue leakage.
• Collecting, analyzing and interpreting of quantitative data for effective decision making.
• Specialist experience in applying statistical methodology to complex data. 
• Designing and implementing data gathering/management computer systems, software and statistics to make forecasts and provide projected figures to senior leaders within a financial services organization.
