    Analyst I - Apps Prog

    Job Description

    The individual will be responsible to play the role of Technical Lead for the applications supporting the Compliance & Surveillance business. This would an individual contributor role.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide Level 2 Support for Siebel Based Applications (Banking Domain)
    • Drive triage calls for significant and high priority issues.
    • Understand end to end application architecture and configurations.
    • Work closely with Level 3 / Dev partners as integral member of agile development.
    • Work closely with DevOps to review planned/emergency releases and escalate any potential stability issues.
    • Perform Application Resiliency testing.
    • Understand and manage batch processing including running, debugging, and restoring any issues with the batch
    • Drive incident management change management problem management, BCP, batch monitoring, application, and infrastructure support functions.
    • Great team player with positive intent and attitude towards work

    Requirements

    • Education* Degree from a reputed university
    • Certifications If Any: ITIL
    • Experience Range* 4 to 6 years
    • Foundational skills: Unix/Linux Scripting, SQL, Autosys
    • Desired skills: Siebel, Core JAVA
    • Sound knowledge in Application Production Support – Incident/Problem/Change Management.
    • Excellent communication & Interpersonal relationship development skills – verbal & writing skills.
    • 3+ years’ experience in planning, tracking, management, and reporting of large programs comprising multi-faceted teams of offshore/onsite associates and vendors
    • Able to lead and triage issues to closure
    • Good understanding of financial/banking industry
    • Willing to be flexible sometimes with providing stand-by out of hours support on rotational basis for production system (as needed)
    • Ability to operate in high-pressure situations
    • Results oriented, and must be able to effectively interact with Senior Management and Business Partners

    Work Timings

    • Shift 1: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
    • Shift 2: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM
    • Rotational weekend/Holidays shifts.

    Job Location* Chennai/Mumbai, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Gift City
